One of the leading art museums in Japan is the Osaka Municipal Museum of Fine Art which is located only a short walk away from the Tennoji subway station. Most of the art work found at this excellent Osaka museum is Asian and there is a strong focus on Japanese, Chinese and Korean artwork.

The Osaka Municipal Museum of Fine Art is open for visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 09:30 until 17:00.
